Totally not true. NASA itself is a great organization. Government bloat, sure, though even there not a lot as theirbudget has consistently shrunk year after year.
But the science and mission of NASA is great.
This I agree with. They fund and support a huge portion of our climate science and most of our current understanding comes from NASA missions and satellites, as well as their counterparts in other countries.
While bloated I'm not convinced they should be doing commercial missions anyway.
I don't get why NASA is doing climate science. We have NOAA for that. It is essentially a duplication/division of effort.
Because they don’t generally do the same research, and what NASA does is passed to the rest of the science community.
But NASA's mission doesn't include the earth, and NOAA's specifically does. I'm not saying that NASA shouldn't collect data if they are the ones handling the satellites, but they shouldn't be doing the research. That is like the army having airplanes. Oh wait... It still doesn't make sense imo.

To be fair... compared to other countries NASA wasn't that great at rocket science.

The possibilities with that are akin to the discovery and manipulation of radio waves 100 years ago; knowledge that fundamentally transformed humanity. -

Well sure, but I want them to do twice as much for half the money. What NASA does is "make good things at great cost", I want them to do something better.

We were at least a decade behind Russia for most of the space race and cold war.

Not quite that extreme but it's a good point.
Decently true. Until just recently we were still flying our main space craft based on a WW2 Nazi design.

It still requires at least a partial compromise of the server beforehand. Not really an issue.
...you’ve partially compromised the server or maybe you wrote a malicious browser extension.
