There we go, that looks like the Ubiquiti page showing that it is not yet released.
The real issue here is that the reseller pulled a scam. They bought a product through a beta channel and tried to sell it as if it was released. Normally, as reselling is forbidden and they shut down access to anyone caught reselling these, the customer is protected from this by the fact that you simply can't buy the product before it is released. But since the reseller was pulling a scam here, it bypassed that protection.
You're just reading what you want to read. Reseller did not pull the scam, they sold the product that's available for sale.
I think you'll find it is quite the opposite. UBNT and UBNT alone decides what is and isn't available for sale. Neither you nor the reseller have any say in what products are beta and which are released. UBNT's documentation doesn't say that it is for sale yet, but does say that it is NOT for sale, pretty clearly it seems.
If you have some UBNT reference to it being released that contradicts UBNT's website, then you should provide it. Otherwise, it's pretty black and white that your reseller pulled a fast one to unload a broken beta unit on you.

@marcinozga Dude, is this your first time getting a bad product from a bad reseller on the internet? You seem super salty about this for all the wrong reasons. You're mad that you don't want to return it to where you bought it because it will take to long, you're mad that Ubiquiti's only support for beta products is the forum... You pulled the short straw, it sucks, go through the proper channels and get it handled correctly

You are missing that it's not Ubiquiti causing the problem here. We don't know why different places are listing these products, what we do know is that according to Ubiquiti, they are early release and not eligible for resale.
Do you really think B&H would be selling product that's not officially available?
I don't know what B&H does, but if they are like Amazon and NewEgg, they likely don't even know what is being sold on their website. The real question is - do you really think that B&H's website listing a product is highly relevant to determining if UBNT really released a product? If so, why when it doesn't mean anything from any other reseller of that nature.
Most large resellers like B&H are open marketplaces selling whatever people put there.

@marcinozga said in Ubiquiti - piss poor customer service:
You're just reading what you want to read.
I think that you'll find that I'm just reading the only things that there are to read. So far we found one thing on UBNT's site that says that this isn't released yet. So far, nothing to the contrary has been found.
Once there is conflicting information and I only accept the parts that support my side, then you can say this. As long as what I'm reading is the only thing to read, you really can't.
-
It sucks that the reseller screwed you here. But we don't even know how much they screwed you, as they might happily handle the return if you went through the proper RMA process with them. Like any store of this nature, you are supposed to go to your reseller, not the manufacturer, if this was really released.

B&H is official reseller of Ubiquiti. So is Baltic Networks, both are listed when you hit find reseller on Aircube page.
Again, show me official documentation that says this product is still beta. Picture in online store doesn't say a thing, it's not a piece of documentation. -

No, you'll find it's the customer not following them here. We can't be more clear. You are ignoring their site, you are ignoring what everyone is saying. You've simply made up your own rules here and are attacking an innocent vendor because you don't want to talk to the guy you know scammed you with the excuse that they aren't as local as the mailing address of the vendor whose reputation you've set out to tarnish.
You are being unfair to UBNT here. You got scammed, you are angry, you want to hurt someone and instead of the people who did it (and might do the RMA instantly if you asked) you are just using this as a platform to attack someone who honestly, isn't even involved.

There is no date code on beta products I would assume. YOu know that's the wrong site. You are demonstrating how obvious it is that it is the wrong site.
Why are you even going to that site and what do you think it has to do with your issue?

That was the point. Apple has nothing to do with it because they would be the wrong channel. It's not a Ubiquiti product yet, it's not released. That makes it, in that sense, a product of the reseller in California.
That was the entire point.
