Awesome, I expect to be there. Always really fun. Hopefully the bats are there again this year. They seem to be getting less and less every year. White nose or whatever that disease is has been really impacting the regional bat populations. Would be sad if the Austin Congress St. Bridge bat population was affected by that. I know it Missouri it is causing huge issues.

The Austin bats are migratory though I thought. Last year was November and after most had gone was my understanding.

They are. We are earlier this year, hopefully there are more of them.

Probably go to Mexico to stay warm. Austin nights get chilly in the winter.

Yeah... first week of November last year it dipped all the way down into the low 70s at night. I should have brought a parka and insulated boots.

(It's still summer weather in Austin, day and night, at least through spiceworld. You might need 1 pair of not-shorts)

You wouldn't catch me dead at that convention ever again. Besides the issues I've had with their mods, I got snubbed by not one but three different spiceworkers last year, all of whom I had met, hung out with, bonded, and had a great time in the past. But big boss man over there doesn't like me, so none of his minions are allowed to either (except the one sent in as a spy). I'll be going back to Austin someday, but not because of those pricks or their sales whore show.

edit: I've got far better places to wear a kilt, thanks.

And 82 in Austin, what's your point? We had a week of almost wintry weather while Harvey and Irma were landing, but it.s been 90 plus ever since. I miss the existence of winter.

No idea, but wow did it cool off fast. A few days ago we were warmer than Phoenix! Now we are colder than New York.

(It's still summer weather in Austin, day and night, at least through spiceworld. You might need 1 pair of not-shorts)

So, you're getting your kilt badge?

                                  There's a kilt badge?
                                  lol

There has been a martini badge promised for years, but it has never arrived.

Probably go to Mexico to stay warm. Austin nights get chilly in the winter.

Yeah... first week of November last year it dipped all the way down into the low 70s at night. I should have brought a parka and insulated boots.

It would be really nice if there was a "River Cruise" badge!
