The redesign was absolutely stupid because there is no reason. They just wanted to. That have publicly stated as much.

Exactly, that is my whole beef. It isn't for any reason other than, we wanted to. The justification: it has been done before.

Watched a little over half of the first season of Ozark on Netflix. Really good so far, plus I like Jason Bateman and it's fun to try and spot locations that I recognize since it was filmed at the 2 large Corps of Engineers lakes near Atlanta.

I had to stop watching it. The Lake of the Ozarks while in the middle of Missouri is fairly well developed.
I know I go there at least once a year. When they had the whole thing about not being able to get Pistachio Ice Cream, I just laughed. There are really nice grocery stores that would have Pistachio Ice Cream.

Then I hope they get rioted and mobbed by a bunch of ST:TNG Cosplay Klingons in full battle gear with their bat'leths.

chaq curl 'ej painfully unusable ghop.

I am going to a renaissance fair with my kids this weekend. Dressed as Klingon. Will complain about puny humans the whole time.

Im on episode 6. In my facebook feed I have friends from Lexington Louisville who go over to party on their racing boats. Lots of big coal and horse money. Im sure they come from a lot of other places to whatever area that is.

To contract, In 2000 I went throught the Ozarks and we went hours without electricity. Stopped at a Walmart and to this day have seen nothing like it.

I read somewhere (maybe above) that it was filmed outside Atlanta.

My dad and I used to watch them. Just like my Liesl and I do now. My youngest, my mom, and my wife all don't like them. But my dad, Liesl, and I all do. I own the entire collection, even the obscure ones.

Well, I watched the first two episodes of Star Trek Destiny - meh.

I agree, the new Klingons are horrible. Who's person in charge of alien design? I'm guessing they have a background in horror films. That all one color black face just made me think of aliens and horror movies in general.

And it horribly doesn't fit the timeline that's already been established Enterprise and TOS - i.e. in TOS, klingons had no head ridges, and in Enterprise, they explained why so many Klingons didn't have head ridges.

So I guess we have a completely new universe to look forward to. Heck this one might not even have Captain Kirk on the Enterprise.

Oh and what about cloaking? Now I can't recall if Klingons had it in Enterprise or not?

One has to ask... if a new television series is made, and it doesn't make it to Netflix, did it ever get created?

Unless it goes to Hulu, where you get to pay for premium service that still gives you ads. There it will continue being unseen.

Or you can pay even more for no ads. Also, Hulu doesn't have digital surround, so that is my last resort.

@wrx7m my beef with Hulu started way back when they took over and ruined southparkstudios.com. Suddenly, it's all "powered by Hulu", and when you went to watch an episode, it showed an ad, then blocked the video with the "please disable your adblocker" bs. So no matter what they do or don't offer, Hulu can eat every bag of dicks available.

Hulu is just tripe. Unable to skip ads while costing more than NF or Prime. 3 minute medicine commercials. Over and over and over again. Every ten minutes.
It is also owned by Comcast Fox NBC.
If you want internet video services to become the wasteland that cable tv is, give hulu money.
Seriously, if it isnt on NF or Prime it doesnt even exist.

It's not a great service. Paying for it at all is bad enough, paying extra is adding insult to injury.
