They have decided to overlook SysAdmin Day, which is always the last Friday of July and establish "IT Pro Day" as September 19th. What is so special about September 19th? What the crap SolarWinds?

What's so special about SysAdmin day and why do all IT Pros glom onto a day that is supposed to be for system admins? SpiceWorks, for example, is all about SysAdmins day even though they are a community that doesn't cater to system admins.
Since I've never seen anyone celebrate either, and SW+SW are funded by the same company, maybe there is an underlying connection?
