The current FreepBX 13 ISO is now a bit old.

For best results, You will need to run the updates as noted above right after system admin setup and before you make an extension.

enabling Let's Encrypt then enabling HTTPS under system Admin should be added to the coming soon list.

It seems with FreePBX 14 you don't have to manually deal with the firmware anymore.

Though JB is running into an issue upon the upgrade from 13 to 14 reporting correctly - but this might be fixed by now.

It is fixed for any new upgrade.

                  another tip

If you want to provision using HTTPS, you have to enable the port under Admin > sys Admin > port management, then choose a port for the HTTP Provisioning under the Secure Port column.

                    Hey Jared,

Thanks for the guide and it helped setup FreePBX14 on vultr. I'm able to make calls out after the setup but cant receive calls. Are there any settings I need to adjust in firewall settings since FreePBX is in the cloud? I'm assuming it is working because the handset was able to register successfully with FreePBX. Any help is greatly appreciated.

                    Cheers.

                      Verify you inbound routing.

If something is not working, make an any/any route to ensure that you do not have a misconfiguration.

Generally the firewall will not cause an issues with "registered" trunks. if your SIP provider is IP based, then you will have to add their IP to the trusted zone of the firewall.

We need proxy guide for shiity countries

I think I am unable to complete call due to blocking.

I configured 2 extenstions on 2 smartphones, and they both can ring each other, but never connect
