So I have some pictures that I took, then delete it... and clear it from 'recently deleted' in Photo... which means it's gone.
There are no backup as it was about 5 minute span from taking the picture to deleting it. Now it needs it back.

I have look at multiple claimed iphone recovery application, but Windows Defender detected trojan on all of them so far.
Anyone has a known working recovery for iPhone picture? The picture was taken on Tuesday so there might still be a chance to get it back?

      Please help

the phone yes. But I delete the photo right after taking it. I don't think there's time for backup to kick in. Is it?

Maybe? No hard in checking your iCloud account.

I just checked and it's not there. 😞
Right now I am hoping on local cache file... assuming Apple deleting file similar to Windows where 1 turn to 0.

Open Photos app, tap on albums, and go to Recently Deleted album.

It's not there anymore. I just clean out the recently deleted photo last night. that's when I realized I need the photo I took on Tuesday.

you are likely limited to a 3rd part app to try to recover the image(s). However don't hold your breath.

@stess Now I realise I missed that part from your original post. Have you tried 3rd party app? PhoneRescue or EaseUS MobiSaver for example? I think those are paid options, but if you really need that photo, it might be worth the investment.

not saying it isn't there,.. but you are trusting a Windows AV product?

What's your concern? Defender is a very good product.

Upload it to VirusTotal and see if others detect it too. It could be just false positive.

                                      0/63 so it's a safe bet it's false positive.
