MMS to nonsupported phone/number... will you get a notification that it was not delivered?
-
@stess yes, there is a way to know. GSM networks support SMS/MMS delivery reports. However, it has to be supported by operator (which usually is) and it has to be enabled on phone itself (by default it isn't).
Look at http://ccm.net/faq/34184-android-enable-sms-and-mms-delivery-report how to enable it on Android device. -
I don't use MMS anymore, but I remember (speaking for my operator) that if recepient did not have MMS enabled service or phone, he would get SMS with URL where MMS could be seen via browser.

@stess There is no way to know if it was delivered or not, your phone will not send if it is an iphone and the other person has blocked you.

Not true, as the phone has no way to know this information with MMS. That is a feature of private services like iMessage.

Right, I have no idea the actual underworkings, but I would guess that the delivery does in fact happen and the block just prevents showing the user the message

@JaredBusch If it is and Imessage that is the key part. It would be an Iphone to Iphone feature not the rest of the mobiles...

Then it is not MMS/SMS.

@Dashrender Correct...

@Dashrender Correct...
Which means completely unrelated as this is about MMS.

@JaredBusch Fine...
