I had an older version of Dell OpenManage Server installed under Storage > Physical disks there was a column for Predicted Failure. All drives showed yes. Server is working fine and dual backups are successful each day. I contacted Dell and they first said to update the Open Manage Server software which I did. Now the new version does not have the Predicted Failure column at all. The tech is telling me that the new version will show you if you have a Predicted Failure but if you don't it will hide the column. Anyone run into anthing like this? Dell R210 Perc H200.

        I haven't come across this personally (haven't worked on many R210's either so . . .)

Did something the Dell Tech say make you want to question what they were saying?

"Please update to the latest version of our software which will prevent us from having to send you new drives under warranty".

@RojoLoco That's what I was leaning towards. It's a coincidence that the ProSupport expires in a few weeks and that the tech had mentioned it as soon as we were connected.

@i3 If you are at the end of your warranty, do whatever is necessary to get them to replace those drives. You paid a lot of extra cash when you bought the server for those replacements, don't let them expire.

Why aren't you running DSET on the server regardless of OpenManage? DSET will reveal any issues and they should replace it.

Make sure to ask for a manager.
