Nintendo Switch Too Weak for Many Modern Titles Already
-
Blizzard has already hinted that the Nintendo Switch, which only just released, is already so underpowered that games like Overwatch may not be an option for it, according to Ars Technica.

No surprise there. It's just the NVidia Shield in a different box. Nice for what it is, but really underpowered.

It's rather odd that we have such a low standard on consoles vs other hardware. Tablets are obsolete at 6 months old, but console are still relevant at 6 years old.

From the impressions I got, the Switch is mostly tablet anyhow...

right, except you get alot less hardware for your buck.

I bought a regular used Wii with a bunch of games my daughter would like that we can play as a family. To name a few, New Mario Wii, Mario 64, zu zu pets, some Disney princess game, and like 15 other games we'll never touch. Some consoles don't need to be amazingly spec'd. Just fun
I think that's the main point of Nintendo. But I do get the point of being under-spec'd for some of the better games. But those games, personally, I'd rather play on the computer anyways.

It's built from the guts of one, literally.
