Watchguard M200

Does anyone here have any documentation regarding how to disable SIP-ALG on a Watchguard device? The documentation on the internet seems lacking. I've never used a Watchguard before, and I don't have one in front of me to mess around with and figure out.

I know we've done it, but it has been a long time since I saw the interface.

Yeah, the interface that I am seeing online doesn't look that great. I'm surprised there is not better documentation on this out there.

I don't think it's enabled by default. There's a SIP-ALG proxy that you can add and configure:

We have an M300 and run a combination of SIP & H.323 and have no issues.
Most folks who post issues regarding call quality (I'm guessing) need to scan your help files to implement QOS and bandwidth reservation -- not just on the firewall but on the switches & phone system processors as well.
Also as @Patrick said, SIP ALG isn't enabled on Watchguard devices unless you see it in your policy list - AFAIK
Good Luck

QoS for sure, although this only helps outbound call quality and can't affect inbound, but avoid reservations. Reservations aren't effective. QoS does a better job while not having the huge impact when not in use. Reservations really don't have any benefits but some huge caveats.
