Mine also says xenenterprise (but I know I've downloaded my copy from xenserver.org)
-

Standard means (without paid support). Its the same exact code
in both versions.regardless where you download it from of the two sources mentioned. -
@DustinB3403 so the features of xenserver are the same, only it's name varies according to support?

Correct.
You aren't missing anything using the copy from xenserver.org or citrix.com it's identical.
-
Once you stand up your system you really should setup xen-orchestra.
-
@DustinB3403 thanks man,.. now i guess you know this but i am a bit confused,,
whith a trial licence from Citrix what do i get?
citrix support for the stated period? -
Here is a guide to install the community version.
Alternatively you can go to xen-orchestra.com and get the paid supported appliance.

Oh, are you using the XOA or the community edition?
-
If you're using the community edition, this update script is critical.
-
@DustinB3403 community edition.. xo-server and xo-web. i setup XO in debian jessie 8.

See my previous post

@DustinB3403 yes i am aware of that update script, i just am in test environment yet, am i am struggling with xen so XO has been in second hand

There are actually some features in Enterprise that are not in Standard/community: https://www.citrix.com/content/dam/citrix/en_us/documents/product-overview/citrix-xenserver-feature-matrix.pdf. The only differences between Standard and community is support.
-
@Kelly i have seen the feature matrix, and that's why i asked.. because there are two editions in feature matrix.. but @DustinB3403 said above that the matrix includes support.. is this correct or not?

The matrix is from Citrix, not XenServer. It is really confusing terminology.
Standard and community are the same. The only difference is standard has support from Citrix.
Enterprise and the features listed there are only available to those with a paid support subscription for that version.
The codebase may be identical, but you can't access things like GPU virtualization without the Enterprise version.

Even more confusing is that those things are add one rather than unlocks... so it isn't really xenServer doing it.
