That $28 model looks pretty decent. How is the wireless range on it? Plugging straight into the wall is a pain as we need adapters for everything and European plugs tend to be really loose in rentals.

While, it is a good device, that does nothing for your needs. It is only a range extender. That would help you not at all in the current situaiton where the router was crappign out continually.

Then get this model, it uses micro USB - Likely your already travel with one of those cables

Ah, I missed that on the first link. The second link is more obvious. Your other criteria was for a couple wired connections also though.

Yeah, it lacks that. But otherwise is a great price and looks decent. A TP-Link is what we moved to here now and it's working well.
