Yeah, you get like 20% for getting the first four lessons done. Then you never get beyond 43% even when doing two hours every day for months and completing everything
I've been at 40% on Spanish for a while now, while only doing lessons occasionally.
You can see how much I'm doing on Italian, and even with it being maxed out and all of those lessons being "practice" only, I'm dropping in percentages over time. It's a bit ridiculous. I do DL as just one of the four things that I do. I assure you that I'm putting in crazy DL time, I'm on a 42 day streak and I know so much more Italian today than three weeks ago when I was at a higher percentage ranking. I have NO IDEA why it keeps dropping.
Mine hasn't dropped yet, which is nuts because I never get to it on the weekends, and I've been pretty slack this week as well.
I'm guessing that it takes 20-30 practice sessions per day on Italian just to hold 43%.
I do have certain lessons that "deprecate" and show me as having 4/5 on ones I have completed in the past. Then you just do the "strengthen lesson" quiz and you're back at 5/5.

Yes, and it takes around 30 per day on Italian to keep up at a steady state. You can see how many I'm doing each week, and it goes down, not up. That's how fast they deprecate.

You just pick a random flag thing from a page of them.

I did 200XP yesterday in Italian at 43% just to have it fall to 42% today! Took 110XP to climb back to the 43% that I had yesterday. How does anyone keep up with this?
