@ajstringham Yes. What medium would be used to receive this invitation? If it's email, should I be setting up a new email for this machine?
No invite to use. It's not that complicated. Just log in using the creds from Art and click the download icon up top and double click on the installer that downloads.
-
@scottalanmiller Alright, I'll do that.
-
He is unavailable at the moment, he'll be back this evening. I'll get that set up tonight.
-
I'll email you the creds.
-
Okay, sweet
-
Sent.
-
It's all good, has been done for hours, I just got back from being busy though.
-
Awesome. Thanks.
Now to get everything else set up
-
If you want, go ahead to Drobo.com and download the latest console software and get that installed on there too.
-
@scottalanmiller done. Next?
-
Sweet! Now to get things networked together. We need the Windows machine, the Drobo and the servers connected to the same switch. We don't have any cool switching for now, we are waiting on Ubiquiti to release their new switch before we commit to any new gear - very interested in seeing what they are bringing out. But for the moment, getting everything wired up will allow us to start getting the Drobo prepped.
-
It's all connected and communicating correctly.
-
Awesome, you can see the Drobo in the Drobo console?
-
-
Awesome. Serious progress!
-
Anything else?
-
That's the beginning. Now for next steps.

It's going to change how you think about VPN's. Everyone I have talked to cocks their heads sideways when I'm explaining how simples it is.
-
@Bill-Kindle I'm looking forward to using and configuring it, then.
