Never done bacon - but I'll take one for the team and sample the results.

There's plenty of fun to be had at home, without the babysitter. In fact, she might get mad if you even tried to involve the babysitter.

Roommate decided to go to Renfest. Going to be camping there all weekend without running water. Eww
So glad that I am avoiding that.

Looks like I really should make a weekend trip to Ga - I mean... seriously!
It is cooking season for the next little while... BBQ, chili, stews, curries... It's so much nicer to cook outdoors in the winter.
Only southerners would claim that outdoor cooking season is the middle of winter...
It's fun to sit by the fire and drink and cook. But that pic looks like what we would call "snowpocalypse".
Yeah, there's gotta be nearly an inch of snow there. Egads!!
That much snow has, and will again, shut down all of N Ga.
And central georgia, and once or twice a century, southern parts of GA.

We have a Pot Luck Party at the house in Dallas being put on by our roommate on Saturday night. So we need to get up there on Friday so that we are there all day on Saturday to help with cleaning, cooking, setting up and what not. Then the party will be all night, often goes till the sun comes up. Then Sunday will be a day to recover from the party.

Got in super late because of the snow. In bed now. Might have time for breakfast in the morning if the storm holds off. I drove in non-stop snow all day today. Really sucked.

Ended up getting on the road like 6am. Had to avoid the snow.

Couple doctors appointments tomorrow, and then putting together some LED strips and programming them through an ESP8266 breakout board. Work on some rarely used programming skills, gonna try to use some AJAX calls so I can push updates from a web server out to the board(s).

Going to go play in the snow out in the woods. My idea of exercise is falling trees with an axe.
