@ajstringham I often find that after I get up to get a drink that time slows down for me too. Sometimes the entire night disappears.

Here's my first world problem... Only 4GB of ram in a my macbook pro. Apple took a stupid move and soldered in the ram, worse move ever. Yeah I know they don't like you opening them up but you still can.

That really sucks. How old is your MacBook that they were soldering on memory?

It might be a Macbook Air or something similar. It was common in those ultrabook-esqe models.

It's the newest Macbook Pro 13" w/Retina http://store.apple.com/us/buy-mac/macbook-pro
I bought it back in Oct -13 but I think I'll finally be happy with it on Yosemite. Mavericks has had all sorts of problems. I usually buy a computer and upgrade ram later if needed (for my personal ones) but I didn't even think to check if you could upgrade or not. Even my old ultrabook (Acer S3) could have the ram upgraded. Sadly the Battery died and that costs as much as the dang thing was worth. -
That is too bad. 4GB really isn't that bad, though. As long as you are not trying to virtualize anything.

I have Parallels Desktop with windows 7 but it's not like an everyday use thing, just for 1 off apps that run only in windows.
