Good tips! I use most of those already, but the bookmarking is new. I'll have to try that out!

Notepad++ is my exclusive text editor on windows platforms.
The #1 plugin for me is the Compare plugin. -
@JaredBusch Does that do what I think it does? Compare similar files and highlight the differences?

It does exactly that. Almost like a version compare on files under version control
