Debating a hosted PBX or just remote phones for branch offices
-
The Elastix install for one of my clients is completed and the users are settling into their new phones. Now my question is do I put the branch phones on directly (through the VPN) or do I get a hosted PBX for them.
The branches are all < 10 extensions and the largest one currently can do 6 simultaneous calls. the other two are 4 each.Internet service is not a problem at all the places it is a T1 at all three. /cry Though one facility MAY be eligible for MetroE and I could get DSL there, but that would only be a 768 up, so a no go. A hosted PBX would let me serve all three and use an IAX2 trunk to the main office. It would also give me a solid fail over. I think I just talked myself into a hosted depending on pricing.. So @Minion-Queen have someone contact me in chat here for my contact info and let's see what you can do.
