Citrix XenServer EULA - is it gone
-
So from another topic, the discussion of Hypervisor EULA's and audits came up. So I wanted to search for Citrix's EULA for XenServer and I couldn't find one easily. Maybe i just missed it. But this is what I found.
XenServer isn't mentioned at all here. So presumably Citrix won't or can't audit for XenServer (since now it's completely open source).
Is that correct?

XenServer is not from Citrix, so why would you sign a EULA with a random third party? That makes no sense. How does Citrix come into the discussion? My not worry about a Microsoft EULA or one from me? We are equally able to make you sign a EULA for XenServer.

My point was, if you are paying for support from Citrix for XenServer, they don't have any EULA for that support?
I would think they would, but I couldn't find it.

EULAs are "End User Licensing Agreements" and would not apply to services.

Fair enough, I wasn't sure if there were some conformity terms in the Citrix Support agreement for XenServer.
Thanks for clarifying.

If you be XenServer from Citrix with support there is indeed a EULA.. the EULA doesn't just cover support.
