I switched to 1Password. They have a utility to import your LastPass info.
One problem: the Mac version gets more love/more updates/looks sleeker/works better vs the Windows versionWhat about the mobile version? I haven't been very impressed with the mobile version of LastPass at all, so wouldn't be hard to make a large improvement.
The iOS version is good. I don't know (nor have I checked) if they have an Android version.
The Android version I have is Keepass2Android Offline. It seems to work just fine.
OK so you installed the 'file' into the android.

I just use a pass phrase on mine... I'm safe as long as I remember that password, ha ha.

Sorry I've been busy. I have Dropbox on my phone. So the database is updated every time I change something. I also have a key file in a different folder on my Android device, that's required to open the database. So both the correct passphrase and they key are required to open the database.

Another way to do 2FA then. Wonder if all of these can use Authenticator?

The key file is how he is able to open the KeePass database. You can set it so that you have to have a file to open the database as opposed to a password.
If the file is only on some remote machine, how does that help you on your phone?
Sorry should have worded that better. I store it on another system other than Dropbox. That way if my Dropbox account is compromised they don't also have the key. I manually copy the key to the devices I use from the other system.

I suppose that's better, but it's not great two factor - you don't know if your device has been compromised and the file is out there.

I've been using 1Password for almost 5 years now. Have it on my MAC, Windows, idevices and Android. Recently they did an upgrade on Android version and all works really well with dropbox for syncing and is secured with the master password.

Password Safe looks interesting. The homepage says designed by Bruce Scneier, I take it he wasn't the programmer then?

Because they got bought out by LMI(Log Me In), I think... and in some circles, LMI has a horrid reputation.
