MS Office is a productivity office suite. It's last version was 2013. The current version is 2016.

Office 365 is a licensing model and unrelated to the versions. Office 365 is subscription licensing and Office 2016 is available there or through other options.

I haven't noticed much difference between 2013 and 2016. It looks a little nicer. I don't believe there are any main differences, just lots of little tweaks.

Three new things I really like:

            1. The "Tell me what you want to do" search field - much better than using the traditional help screens (or spending ages searching all the menus for the command you want).
            2. When you click "Attach File" in Outlook, it displays a list of the most recent files you've worked on for easy selection.
            3. The black theme.

Evolution, not revolution. 2013 was actually a pretty big change from 2010, that can't do that again for a while. I've not used 2016 but my understanding is that it is very much a "tweak" upgrade.
