@coliver I'd use a fresh blade every time then.
I probably should. My wife got me a 20 pack of the shark blades and I wanted to make them last.
$0.10/blade - treat yourself

I'll try that sampler pack first. Maybe I'll find one I like better.

@MattSpeller What is this height dial that you speak of? I haven't found anything like that on mine.
-
@coliver Be super careful with the Feather's - they're just obscenely sharp haha

Oh! Two types of safety razor - fixed and adjustable. With fixed (as you have I guess) the sample pack is critically important.
Adjustable lets you set how aggressive the blade is and a little bit of the angle at which it meets your face.
If you like your fixed head, keep it! I collect them and have quite the assortment.
Highly recommend if you're interested (AWESOME quality, last forever, give it to your grand children kinda item)

You can't eventually ascend and evolve to your higher form if you don't have a respectable beard. I mean, what the hell!? Do they think greybeards come out of the womb that way?!
It's all about Professional Development.

Plus, I have better things to throw my productivity away on rather than wasting it on shaving...

Ugh, I wish. It would take me years to grow anything half that luxurious.

I also rock a beard but I need to trim around the edges

@coliver I started this one Mid-October of last year.

Yeah, I've got another month or so on this one before I take it WAY down. I'm letting it go nuts for an upcoming trail relay I'm doing in Richmond with a bunch of other running friends. It's the Ragnar Trail series and we all thought it would be appropriate to sport viking-like beards. Well... All of us but one. We're making him wear a knit beard though.
-
My beard doesn't grow in very well and it is lightly colored but my skin is so sensitive that I don't ever shave clean. I use a beard trimmer so I always have some stubble but you can't really see it that well.

Get a doctor's note saying you have a problem with skin irritation and ingrown hairs if you have to shave.
This is what a lot of my military friends are doing, although they do actually get serious skin irritation if they shave.
I do too.. I haven't shaved since October..
But I've had IT jobs in the past where I had to. My face always stayed red from the irritation.
I trim my beard down, but VERY rarely go clean shaven as I look about 15 afterwards...using an old school safety razor has reduced the inflammation etc I used to get though...
My wife bought me a butterfly razor two years ago for Christmas. Best shave I've ever had.
I use a butterfly razor also. My wife got me a straight razor for Christmas. I tried it once and I got scared so I haven't really used it yet haha.

Go slow and have a styptic pencil and bandaids handy. Oh and it helps if you avoid the white towels, your wife will thank you.

@RojoLoco so if we have a doctor's note then it wont make any problem

As like many IT MNC company my firm also telling me to have clean shaved code but I dont like to be like that, so what reason can i give to them for having beard.

You gotta follow dumb policies or find a better company to work for,
We don't have policies like that or hardly any dress code either!
Agreed, that's a terrible thing for a workplace to care about. It means they can't figure out how to manage to make rules to cover up that they are not managing.

Which country is that? I've never heard of beards being banned.
Welcome to America. Lots of companies do that in the US. Famously... Disney. One of the many reasons they are considered a joke and I know of no one outside of minimum wage workers who will even return their calls. It's widely famous for being one of the worst employers both in being horrible to work for as well as being full of incompetence.
That said, very happy with Disney trying to protect people against recent state wide discrimination.
