I did follow all the steps mentioned in the blackbox above & rebooted the server. Did not get any prompt to set passwords! What am I missing??

Just realized this is the MT, not the Elastix 4 thread. This script is old, the Elastix 4 one was just updated to fix issues.

This has been on my list to revisit, so checking into it now. What host are you running on (Rackspace, Digital Ocean, etc.)

root password is Tellusys123, if that helps

You are going to want to rebuild that system. Publishing your IP address and root password to the public means you can't trust the system at all. I know that you are just testing it right now, but this means that you can never trust that system again.

Yes I agree, this cloud server will be scrapped eventually. I just wanted Scott
to have a system installed rather than doing it again on his own system!

I have an updated script running now. So far, it is looking promising. We learned a lot doing the Elastix 4 this week.

I think you want me to test it first 🙂

                          On Digital Ocean right now.

And it works. Script at top has been updated. Just take that and run it on a CentOS VM. Should prompt for passwords and reboot to a working system.

Elastix 4 offers much more features vs features in Elastix MT, as I see. Do you have a script to install Elastix 4 from repo?

Can anybody comment on how to fill the gap between the two version, as we need MT as well as New elastix features

Very different products, you should not be switching from one to the other. Elastix MT is for multitenant hosting. Elastix 4 is the continuation of their single tenant system. Different products for different scenarios.

                                            HI Scott,

A single organization in MT is nothing but Elastic 4 which is for s single tenant. How do I give latest features to a customer defined in MT? Both offer IVR features, but 4 offer custom destinations etc. What am I missing?
