Registering for an HA-Lizard Account
-
I tried this last night as well at @NHCSAdmin request and I could not register either. The registration button doesn't even take me to a registration option.
-
You're welcome.
Obviously don't try to register for a new account using the same email address.

@scottalanmiller Thanks Scott, I ran into the same thing. I ended up having to go to the login button on the top bar and then selecting register. I then entered all the information and ran into the issue with the Spam warning. Not sure what the issue may be though.

@DustinB3403 Hi Dustin, yeah I tried using my personal and work email accounts with no luck. I then tried using my wife's email account and still no luck. I just asked my wife to try just to rule out that I am not the issue and she got the same error. Not really sure what the issue maybe.

That worked, thanks. It would not allow me to get there on my own.

Very confusing that the math problem asked a question in Roman numerals, but only requested an answer. But it actually wanted me to translate the answer to Arabic. It just assumed that I would guess that it would ask in one number system and answer in another. That makes no sense.
-
Tagging @halizard just so that they know that people are having complications.
-
@scottalanmiller I wonder if that was the issue from the computer, all of the math problems on the computer were with Roman Numberals while on my phone it was 2+2.

Interesting.
I got VII / I, which of course the answer should be VII assuming we are using Roman Numberals with non-Roman math symbols, which doesn't make sense on its own. But the answer that they wanted was 7. If they wanted that, they should have mentioned that they wanted an Arabic answer. If this was a test, and the teacher wanted 7, the teacher would have been wrong.

@NHCSAdmin From my desktop here I had 0 + 5 as my question..
-
@DustinB3403 I just tried it again and I got another Roman Numeral question, I took what @scottalanmiller said in his reply and converted it to the number 4 and I was then able to register. So it looks like my issue was that I kept replying with the Roman Numerals as my answer instead of converting it.

Ha ha. I just assumed that whoever wrote it was trying to be clever and failed and was right. I did not give them the benefit of the doubt and it paid off.
