What's your secret gaming shame?

Oh. I see, I think. So little happened that I could not tell that there was anything resembling progress. I could not determine that such a thing existed from the few minutes that I played. I figured that I was missing something big.

I like Minecraft, even though its such a simple game...
But i get quickly bored playing alone...

Yeah you just go up in levels and defeat more monsters, unlock heroes, level them up, etc. Lather rinse repeat.

Zuma. Something easy and brainless to do while on webinars
Yeah I do that too, with tapping games and other mindless games like match 3 games. I've started on You Need a Bigger Boat, which is the sequel to 10,000,000. They're both match 3 games that have RPG elements.

It's the "but there are no enemies" thing that got me. There was no threat to defeat. I couldn't figure out the "why"

Look into Modded Minecraft with the Hardcore Questing mod installed. You can go through a bunch of stuff with it. My server is currently running the Astronomy HQM modpack.

My secret shame? Racing games.
I also dabble in Euro Truck Simulator sometimes... but not as much as I would like.
-
I love flight simulators!
-
@coliver I do play modded.
But I still get bored when playing solo...

Well there are boss fights in Tap Titans and Clicker Heroes. But after each boss is just another boss.

I'm actually running a modded server out of my house at the moment that I play on locally.
I had set it up for some buddies then they all went AFK for the summer season ...
-
@Nic Yeah thanks for the introduction to this... I had work to do!

A big pile of unopened board and card games. I need a table gaming area in the new house.

For some reason, I really like games like "Railroad Tycoon" where you feel like there is some deep strategy because of all the variables that you're trying to figure out to do it best. Of course, in the end, after you've wasted numerous hours playing the scenarios and whatnot, you realize that the AI is obviously not that detailed and it's all just fluff that fooled you into wasting your entire day on it.

I'm like that with the Tropico series.

I lasted a whole weekend on that before I got utterly bored.
EDIT: Danielle and I both, that is. -
Dang it I can't wait much longer for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.....
So long...

My shame game is DragonVale. It's frustratingly soothing.
Don't know that one. What style is it?
