The box looks nice. Do Finnish families sleep on the floor like Asian cultures do?
I feel the article didn't quite explain how the box saves the infants lives. I was interested in the science behind it. I read it a couple times, maybe I missed it.

No, the Finnish sleep similar to Norway and Sweden. Low but not on the floor.

My impression of it was that it was primarily around being safe. Nowhere to fall, nothing to choke on, nothing to get stuck on.

I know one of the possible reasons for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is due to asphyxiation of the child during sleep. To prevent that, avoiding stomach sleeping is best and snug, low blanket wrapping is recommended. I was hoping to see if the box limited their side to side movements when they slept to keep them on their back. Now I am just guessing.
