On buses mostly. He's been in California then Vegas. Now he is a few hours from Atlanta.

Smoothie goodness..

I should be less than five hours from arriving in Atlanta now. I've got two months that I've got to spend as absolutely little as possible and try and get five grand built up in savings. We'll see if I can do it.

Making plans for @ryanov to come hang out with us in Nicaragua next week. His flights are booked.
Are you putting out an open invite for people to visit you?

$5K in two months is a savings rate of $2,500/mo. That means post-tax earnings of $30K per year plus any costs on top of that. I don't think that that sounds very realistic. That is a ton of money to stash, even with housing being free, in such a short period of time. Even if you can live on $500/mo total expenses, that's $3K per month so $36K income. Taxes would take that above $40K, maybe even $45K of total income. A steady $45K job will be tough to wrangle that quickly and there is no time for it not to be full time. And $500/mo to live on is tough as it is.

I'm aiming high but I want to get 3-4K if I can. I need enough to get me into an apartment in Dallas and have enough capital to get started.

You are thinking of San Diego.
LOL I was thinking Cali in general... but yeah.. Was west coast last week, and now east coast this week. Are you being paid to travel at this point?

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do... I'd love to do it... though I won't have any extra vacation until 2017 now, Taking 3 weeks for Europe next summer.. that pretty much eats it all up.

More like roof hunting. Vegas turned out to be a bomb that blew up in my face. So I'm going to Atlanta because I have a place there to crash for two months.
-
I keep telling him! @dominica agrees too, that the Crazy AJ's idea is a good one.
