If you like seafood, try the 17th Street Fisheries if it's still there. Outstanding.
Carlos & Pepe's is excellent Mexican food if it's still there. I haven't been there since 1988. -

Ha... this should work every time:
- CTRL-ALT-DEL
- Taskmanager
- File -> Exec new task (or whatever it is called in English)
mmc diskmgmt.msc
(or mmc.exe or ...)
You could also run explorer. If the shell's jacked, it might reload somewhat correctly

Windows Key + X, Press A for Windows PowerShell (Admin)
Tried that, too. But we were remote and the system didn't pass that through.
Isn't right click on the
menustart button the same as Windows Key + X?But we don't have the start button anymore.
That majorly sucks

Tried my first cup of Death Wish coffee this morning. It's actually pretty good... If anybody hears a thunking sound in their attic, I am probably trying to float away somewhere... or I died and am now going to haunt you forever... <insert evil cackle here>.
Salt it with some 5 Hour Energy and I think you can read minds.
Ha ha ha... I've seen enough movies with mind readers to know that's not a power that I'd like.... Now give me the ability to move faster than a speeding bullet, that I might could handle.
You can power clean your apartment in 38 minutes

When you think about hydrogen and flight, the image that comes to mind for most is the Hindenburg airship in flames.
That is definitely not what I think of, especially when talking about power sources.
Hydrogen wasn't the fuel source.
It is. It's an article specifically about fuel sources.
Correction: fuel source for dirigibles. Hydrogen was the source for lift
But the article wasn't about dirigibles.

I didn't say it was recent... I was saying that very little original comes out... and that was the last that I can currently recall being what I considered truly original.
then there ya go.
There was trolls that came out (which was a remake of the smurfs with a twitst)
then there was the Minions ..
all kid's movies.
Trolls? wasn't that based on the Troll dolls from the 80's? which might have been a brainchild of the surfs back then....
i have no idea... You forget I wasn't around back then .'
LOL - wasn't really asking you.. more the ether -
regardless, I'm slightly to young to remember anything before 2000
i dont even remember you dressing up as darth maul and fighting me with light sabers in my front yard in '98.. only reason I know that is cause your wife reminds me with pictures all the time. LOLIf you dressed as Darth Vader, you could have started a Volkswagen with your mind.
the power of the force does not come from dressing up as Darth Vadar.. It comes from Within... I can start a Volkswagen with my mind as it is now (if I owned one and had the key fob LOL)
You could have started an old bug by pushing it....not even really fast

They had Timothy Zahn's best selling trilogy in hand and had to build a ramp, drive a JLG up and add a ladder to see past it. Sometimes....
This was the most frustrating thing about TFA.
"Every one of these movies is a particularly hard nut to crack. Thereโs no source material. We donโt have comic books. We donโt have 800-page novels. We donโt have anything other than passionate storytellers who get together and talk about what the next iteration might be."
I'm getting tilted just rereading that.
Amen

Also taking my son to the Dallas zoo to see the christmas lights and a few things there later today. He wanted to go and I don't want to disappoint.
That sounds excellent. We're taking the grand-babies to the zoo in Columbus, Oh. next summer for a long weekend. They love the zoo....any zoo.

take the data
create new excel file
paste that date, no format, or reduce formatting as much as possible.I have also had people do this to fix weird issues. It has fixed some.
yeah, some of these files are 30 years old.
30 years old. Sheeez. Those could have originated on Lotus. Copy / past like previously suggested might do some good.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
I wonder if the brick and mortar retailers are hurting and are grateful for the earlier than usual holiday behavior. We took a trip to the outlets this past weekend and even if the sales were trumped up, every store we hit had huge sale signs everywhere. The stores everywhere we went were packed. Parking was in the nosebleed sections. No handicapped spaces available.

RE: Excel freezing
Another thing to check is the printer settings on the affected workstation. I've seen the SNMP settings, even though they are correct, needed to be disabled. Blips in the network have caused those connections trying to be re-established and cause frustrating pauses. Clicking on anything in Excel causes it to freeze and crash, but not always.
