Complicated technology is not par for the course. Come out and join the Scale Legion to get some fore-sight into new technology, network with peers, have some food/drink and hit some balls. Scale Legion is open to any IT professional who manages a hyperconverged infrastructure, regardless of virtualization platform(s); any employees of the more than 1300 organizations using Scale Computing products; and Scale’s solution provider partners. Members of Scale Legion have access to web-based and in-person opportunities to network with peers, educational resources, talks, meetings, conferences, road shows, webinars, training, technical materials, and other content to help create efficient, flexible data centers in small to midsized environments. Scale Legion members also have an active voice in product direction.

Whether you're a Scale Computing customer or not, please introduce yourself here. Our goal is to build a robust technology community based off hyperconverged infrastructure. We want to get to know what you are running, issues you've had and what types of workloads you've deployed.

To kick this off, my name is Shane Weinbrecht (@Shrizrah). I've been entrenched in virtualization for many years and have pushed the buttons on most platforms, primarily VMware and KVM (Scale Computing). I have a dual role at Scale, Sr. Systems Engineer and Community Mgr, NA (my 'night' job). Looking forward to meeting more of the ML family!

@Minion-Queen Likewise, although I am truly sorry that one of your first introductions was to @BrianBauer .... I kid, he is a super star!

Not exactly a Legion event, but we'll be at O'Fallon Brewery this evening from 6-9:30 with Barracuda. Feel free to stop in for a brew or two and learn a bit. I'll be talking community with attendees on the sidelines.

I'd say you should come back around, but the local spicecorp leaders kinda fell off the face of the earth here.

A tech group failing in rural eastern Ohio? How is that possible?

lol, this one was based out of Cleveland.... I actually met another guy that I grew up with going to the Spicecorps, turned out he lives a couple miles away from where I work. We actually had like 5 people that work in Amish Country going to those spicecorps meetups.

I presented at two Cleveland SC meetings, it's been a bit ago.
