@gjacobse @Dashrender that will be a big window with counter top along that wall. Probably going to put chairs / stools there for dining. And I don't think all of this portion is done yet.

RojoLoco gets a new kitchen....
Some of you already know, but I'm having my kitchen redone / enlarged significantly. The construction started way sooner than I was expecting, so I didn't get any good "before" shots, but I'll be posting progress and details here as we go.
And probably some questions too. I'm way too excited about it already, and I haven't even picked a faucet or sink yet. Here is a pic of what got done yesterday:

Watching the progress on my new kitchen. They're moving fast, the concrete was poured on Friday, materials arrived yesterday, and there are new windows in the contractor's truck.

man - what a PITA - no just simple direct deposit.
Jaja, no. Have to do money laundering paperwork for every employee. International pay is a terrible paperwork beast.
Better call Saul....

Had Physical Therapy this morning for my back - needed coffee so I caved and got Hy-Vee gas station coffee.. good coffee based on the price (1.00 for a medium)
If you have a Racetrack gas station nearby, they have excellent coffee, $2 for a large.
And stick with the PT, that's the only reason I'm able to walk again.
for me it's the muscle relaxers helping me walk again. .
That too. It's difficult for me to move without them.

Up early (for me) on a Saturday. Been sipping cold brew and removing my expired card from all the automatic bill payments. Next up - configure 3 new laptops before Monday, when the next wave of new hires will arrive.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
Our office power was out all morning, someone called to tell me about it (woke me up), like I could have fixed it over the phone. I then ignored the next 20 calls and texts about it while I was driving. Is it Monday?

After talking to the area's top Subaru expert, I have discovered that my trusty '06 Outback is beyond repair. Apparently the flat 6 motor is ridiculous to work on, and if my car had the regular 4 cylinder, repairs would be very reasonable. At least it has a bunch of catalytic converters that are worth $$, and some other new-ish parts to sell. Hopefully some Subaru enthusiast will buy her to rebuild.
Now I just have to actually find another car... they seem to be in short supply these days.

Sipping on some cold brew. Got a new rig for Xmas, but we just opened it up this week. 1st batch is great, a bit on the lighter side (only 12 hrs brew time). And we used fine ground coffee since that's what we had on hand. Coarse ground is on the way, but I'll probably make a 2nd batch with some fine grind.
"Recipe" if anyone is interested:
3 cups fine ground coffee, light roast
1 gallon of spring waterPour water slowly through coffee grounds, stirring with a chopstick as you go. Refrigerate for 12 hours, pull the filter out slowly, letting it drain well.
Next batch will be 24hr.

RE: Windows Server 2022 and Suspect Edge Instability
Just chiming in to keep track of this. We have yet to deploy Server 2022, but we have some new stuff on the way that might have 2022 licenses.

I was having an ok day until I started to drive home. Coolant temp started climbing, had to stop on the side of the road and top off the juice. Made it another 1/3 of the way, temp got way up again. Luckily I was within a mile of our local bar, so it's time for beer and lunch. And a new car.
