Made it through the 4th with only 1 injury - smashed my big toe on a brick step, wasn't even drunk yet. Somehow we shot off fireworks for 3 hours, quite irresponsibly, without incident.

Many, many years ago, I saw a PBS documentary where two women would take a swig of plum wine and spew it on the cow as they rubbed it down. Now this was in the 60's or 70's so I don't remember most of the details, but I seem to remember that it was called kaki or something similar and was supposed to be the most expensive beef at that time.
Isn't that called moo-kaki?

Trying to make an arrangement of a Claude Debussy piano piece approachable for middle school woodwind and brass players
Good luck! That's ambitious, but will be awesome if they can play it.

@siringo I haven't had nearly that much trouble with it. Running on Windows 10, opening WAC in chrome, very few issues. Most of my problems have been on 2012R2 machines. It's not perfect, but my experience has been far less troublesome than yours apparently.
To what do you connect? We've mostly used it on Server 2019 and truly it has been useless. If you ever get it to connect, which is rare, it disconnects before you can complete any action and never does anything useful.
My Hyper-V hosts are 2016, as are most of the VMs. The 2012R2 boxes are still bare metal systems that we can't ditch yet.
Weird, we've tried 2016, no luck. 2012R2 are hopeless for sure.
I had to deploy WMF 5.1 (which includes PS version 6) to get the 2012R2 servers to connect at all. Less info on those than 2016.

@travisdh1 they call their pedal line "moogerfoogers".
A friend of mine has been to MoogCon...
I bet that is awesome. I got to meet Bob Moog when I lived in Asheville in the late 90s. Really nice guy.

@RojoLoco LOVE hot sauce too, I'll check it out.
I'm down to try thatI can give tons of recommendations on my favorite sauces. I haven't counted, but I'd bet I have close to 100 different sauces right now.

@PhlipElder it's kinda sad that nature didn't get to deselect them. Darwin award avoided.

Holy crapspackle.... I know vintage guitars go for lots of money, but I think this might be one of the highest priced axes I've ever seen. One of only a dozen known to exist.

Taco Tuesday!!! I brought some leftover tacos borrachos that I made last night - carne picada beef, simmered with spices, onions, garlic, and beer.

Cheeseburger, homemade.
Wife mixed it with porkrinds instead of bread crumbs and mixed in worcheshire sauce. Burgers came out incredible.I saw a burger recipe that had "bacon paste" added in... basically, chop up some bacon and toss it in a blender or food processor and pastify it. Add to burgers, meatloaf, use as a coating for wings, etc.

@scottalanmiller I was referring to their "we're axing everyone who is a member of any other tech community"
I am still part on that community. It would be crazy if they axed a lot of the contributors at once.
Or really, any. ZD has nothing to win from that, if anything it would be the time to bring old ones back.
That is what I said here
@DustinB3403 said in Spiceworks Just Got Acquired by Publisher Ziff-Davis:
Someone should login to spiteworks and see if they'll be reinstating the accounts that were axed because of the tantrum of SpiteWorks management.
Wait, you mean the <string of expletives omitted> that used to swing the banhammer freely might be gone soon? As in, my account might get to come back from the permanent time-out corner it was placed in so many years ago now??? I'll believe it when I see it.

. Lee Y and Chris W. gone. Brilliant minds.
No sense in shedding tears for a company that has been selling you for profit since the day you signed up. I'm sure those 2 (and all the others) would push you in front of a bus if it would make them a buck.

Super excited for this. Looks like it's by the same people that did the Sharknado movies (which are awesome). If you like cheesy B movies, also check out Swarm Of The Snakeheads, which is on Amazon Prime right now.

Trying a new taco/tapas/tequila place for lunch. Salsa is excellent, tacos on the way. Gotta fuel up for working late (office 365 deployment begins at 6pm).

Drunk History - iirc - is about things that have happened in history while people were smashed, and how the drink made those sorts of things possible.
No, the historians are drunk. And all of the history (so far) is American.
All the episodes I've seen have comedians getting drunk and telling a historical tale. Haven't seen any actual historians, but I haven't seen all the show either.

Ok, Swarm of the Snakehead was really difficult to watch but I did it.
I probably should have mentioned that intoxication is pretty much required for that one.
