Hey I was thinking about using pfsense for my
Router to connect to my cienna switch that Comcast provides for my fiber service they give me a wan and the a usable
LAN

Anyone have input about weather or not I am crazy for doing this

The router need to connect to the cienna switch they provide. I could configure my swtch on two diffent ports for wan ppp and then usable address

Correct isp is going to give me a switch to connect to fiber, they called it ppp then I will have my LAN that i have to configure my router to. Alittle above what I know i was told on port needs to be connected to the fiber switch and configured wan ppp then the other to my gateway address

I am upgrading my network from comcast business class to fiber.. Currently I have 150/20 I am going to fiber 50/50. I was wondering what people's thought process are, I want to get a really good router, and i currently have an hp 2920 switch and a nortel baystack 5510 switch. your thoughts.

@bigbear Sky is the limit with scale. Right now I am using it to host Websites. The hyper visor is insane and also up and running. there support is top notch as well.
