@pchiodo I can definitely do that. Especially since I still don't know much about the role, I'm sure they will appreciate multiple options.

Sounds like you need @pchiodo
He is the ERP guy for @NTG
That might be an intriguing option for them. I'm not sure on their budget yet, but I can at least present @NTG as an option!

Call for "Unicorn" 3D Designers/Architects
I have been talking to a company in Grapevine, TX who is looking to potentially add one or more 3D Designers/Architects to their team sometime in Q2. I don't have much information on the role, but they only wanted me to put out feelers and test the market a little as they aren't ready to add anyone just yet. Here is the info that I do have
"Graphic Designers with Animation interest and experience. Someone that is looking for the agility of a start-up to fuel their personal growth, that is coachable, moldable, pliable, etc. A mix of right and left brain"
I'm hoping to get more info on the programs/software they utilize soon, and will post that information as soon as I get it. Again, just putting feelers out at the moment, but I would love to start any preliminary conversation with anyone that might be interested, or even would be willing to share insight on their experiences in a similar role.

Looking for an ERP Implementation Specialist
I started conversations yesterday with a company located in Fort Worth, TX that is looking to add an ERP Implementation Specialist with Sage X3 experience. I am working on getting more details on the position, but wanted to start putting some feelers out and see if anyone on here might be interested, or know anyone who might be interested, in this role. I can post more details as I learn them, but I would love to start preliminary conversations with anyone who might be interested.

That could definitely be a good idea.
We're going to get together early next week here at the office to brainstorm and see what ideas we can come up with.

RE: Hot Topics for MangoCon 2019
Would some kind of information from an IT Staffing firm have any value? Maybe something like industry standards from our side, or maybe some kind of forum where we discuss ways staffing firms tend to fall short, and some things that we could be doing differently and work better together. I realize that the value of something like that might be diminished if there my company were the only staffing firm there, as it may not have a huge affect on the industry as a whole; but, my office is right down the street from where MangoCon is this year, there are a few of us at Diversant that are starting to get more involved with this community, and we would love to be involved in whatever way we can.

@scottalanmiller Same for us. I think there is plenty of value in the information to be shared on both sides. We get an opportunity to learn about tech from the people with boots on the ground, and we can share a perspective from the client side on interview process, best practices, hot projects, etc.
And a chance to learn about who is available, get the word out more about opportunities, etc.!
Exactly, I don't know why I hadn't really thought about posting info on the open jobs we had either. I'm sure there are plenty of highly-qualified IT pros on here that our recruiters don't have in their database. I might see what our team needs some help on a try a trial run in the next day or two.

RE: Why Do Recruiters Never Get Involved in Forums Like This
I just heard about this page yesterday. I work as an Account Manager at Diversant; I work with Weston, who commented above.
Although I am not a recruiter, I would be more than happy to sit down with anyone over lunch, coffee, a happy hour, etc. who would be willing to help me improve my knowledge of current technologies. That way I can also arm my recruiters with better information for their search. Just putting people in chairs, or throwing tons of candidates at managers just hoping one will stick, is not how I like to do business. I want to make sure that there is a good fit for both my clients as well as the candidates I submit. I get that many recruiters/staffing companies have a bad rap, but I try my best to differentiate myself by getting involved in communities like this. If anyone would be interested please feel free to send me a chat on this site, and I'd be happy to pass my contact info along and get something set up!
