Learning about provisioning Yealink phones

admittedly, our deployment will be more "seat of the pants' as we had a DC failure and I'm the new guy so make him do it. I haven't even looked at all the potential issues and pitfalls. I just know that for a company of our size (less than 100 users, workforce now primarily remote) a central active directory structure is not necessary nor needed. We aren't doing LDAP/ADFS/SAML anywhere today. Heck we don't know yet if we even need MDM (Intune) but if the higher ups are allowing up to get licenses might as well play with it.

Flying "solo" today at the new job, so much to learn still.

@gjacobse will appreciate this; its a ham weekend for me! Local hamfest (amateur radio swap meet for those who don't know, not the celebration of the meat) tomorrow morning followed by some radio workin's out at our property. May get the permanent loop antenna up there too not sure yet.

Had a very rare earthquake this AM here in Western NY, USA, USGS says 3.8, Canada says 4.2; felt the who house shake for about 5-10 seconds. No damage

My commute's about to go to heck. Currently have a nice 10 min commute to the office; but my company is leasing a new office space/warehouse space that's located in the "snow belt" part of town and 35-40 min from my home. Don't mind the drive but the snow belt around here gets hit pretty hard and don't want to get stuck.
On teh plus side: complete network and wifi refresh!
