RE: Ideas for ITSP and MSP Internal and Customer Documentation
I know this topic is quite old so my apologies. Whatever came of this though? I am looking for something at work to improve what we have, which is not really much. We use text files, word files, and spreadsheets for example and we need to do much better.

RE: Gaming - What's everyone playing / hosting / looking to play
@coliver Yeah Fortnite is just that popular it seems. We are a funny pair, he is sitting their with my sennheiser headphones playing Fortnite and I am sitting next to him with my Bose noise cancelling headphones on playing Everquest.

RE: Have you looked at Itarian's (formerly Comodo) suite of tools?
@Dashrender Thanks and I'm planning on it. I just need more time in the day to do everything I want to lol

RE: Nginx VM
@scottalanmiller I'll concur about Windows here. I use a Win 10 vm made from virt-manager and its smooth as silk. Much better performance than using something like Virtualbox or hyper-V in my opinion.

RE: Wifi Card Not Being Seen
@LilAng Then I think the only thing left is the motherboard of the laptop.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@scottalanmiller It was really nice. We had fun and just got back.

RE: Spare box is sitting idle. I7 32GB RAM. Which flavor should I run
@scotth My workstation at work is kvm with fedora under it. I use windows 10 and opensuse vm's under it through virtual machine manager. It works very smooth and never had a bit of trouble.

RE: Problems Updating
@JaredBusch Your probably right. I'm guessing thats why my repos 'fedora' and 'updates' arent working but who knows. I always keep my stuff up to date so I never see this weird stuff.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@valentina I'd say go for it. I'm already hungry so I'm biased

RE: Problems Updating
Ok yeah you all were right, it was too much trouble going from one version to another. I got him updated to 25 then encountered the same problems all over again when trying to go to 26. Just different issues. So just backed up and rebuilt and done. Using dnf-automatic and rsync to keep things up to date and backed up. Thanks for the input all.

RE: IT reporting website for every day users
@wirestyle22 I still think Wordpress is what you want for this. Its easy and quick enough for what your describing.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
Just pulled the trigger and got Matomo for all my sites. It is set up so much better than Google Analytics.

RE: USG Pro 4 and our Company Security
@jevans Juniper makes good stuff, Fortigate less so. We use some Fortigate here and have had several strange issues.
If it sounds like they are promoting a package then buyer beware as the saying goes. If they are selling something then any advice they give is suspect.
As others have said, hardly anyone ever needs a UTM. They are right.

RE: USG Pro 4 and our Company Security
@jevans Sounds like he is reading a sales brochure. None of what he said gives you any reason to stay with him. Just my opinion.
