@scottalanmiller Darn I missed that. One of these days you need to stop long enough for us to get coffee or a beer, dependingon if its before or after 10 am

RE: Unable to Connect to Hyper-V 2016 Remotely
@obsolesce I'm going to agree with him on this. Windows updates screws everything up in our settings regularly and it can affect almost anything it seems.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
I think I'm landlocked here, surrounded by 6 inches of water on one side and lots of mud on the other. I'm staying inside and may order in pizza or something lol

RE: Diagramming Tools for Linux
LibreOffice Draw works well and I think LucidChart would be good too.

RE: What are you using for Documentation?
I use OneNote at work and MediaWiki at home. However I like Bookstack for some things, Boostnote for my C++ documentation, and Wiki.js is good all round and not so specific.

RE: Gaming - What's everyone playing / hosting / looking to play

RE: New Ecommerce Site?
@hobbit666 That sounds like a bad idea in my opinion. Wordpress is still good but a little more involved than Shopify which is about the best value you can get. If he resells hosting you would think he would not need help.

RE: Gaming - What's everyone playing / hosting / looking to play
@travisdh1 Yeah just about the whole thing isn't kid friendly so I'll just wait. Rarely have any time at home by myself anyway

Outlook 2016 Stuck Processing
I had this user a few min ago and Outlook would not open. It partially opens but just says processing for hours she says. It is the installable version and 64 bit. I googled real quick and found the solution and implemented so she is up and running now. However, does anyone know why this happens, as in what is going on in the background that would cause this?

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@DustinB3403 Yeah. This just makes us look stupid. I'm really annoyed

RE: User Training Who is responsible
@dustinb3403 Reluctantly, I suppose yes, at least to a small degree. It ultimately makes my life easier when I can decipher what they mean

RE: Diving into a completely new tech stack
I am always watching for new books personally. Through my training platform at work we have a book section on all things IT and I watch for stuff that interests me. Automation, programming, virtualization, and Linux are what I enjoy most. I enjoy reading and practicing things at home but that is my preference. Nothing like a good new book on one of those topics for me.

RE: Vendor supplied drivers
I use vendor supplied drivers as much as possible. If its a 5$ mouse and windows detects it then no but in most other circumstances I will get the proper one and put it in an image somewhere.
