RE: Any Suggestions
I have done this with Dashlane. Ive used it myself for years. A couple times I shared it with a friend for sites and passwords. It has a nice secure area for another layer to put stuff in. It has a desktop app and a nice phone app.

RE: Cisco SmartNet
Yeah that sounds like my school. We have 200 users but last I heard we pay 100k yearly for who knows what for our phone system. Ive tried to give my input on such things but there is politics and probabaly peoples jobs at stake if they made a move. Management does not see it or maybe they do, who knows. But yeah that is typical cisco and why I hate them

@wrcombs It's great when management backs you up. Theres just no reason for any customer to treat others like that.

RE: Replacing Samsung Android device
@gjacobse I have good luck with Huawei. They get a lot of bad press recently after trying to move into the US. However I have never had an issue and they have worked flawlessly. Good screens. Made real well too. I have a Mate 9 for work and a mate 10 for home. I bought the mate 9 3 or so years ago and the mate 10 about 6 months ago. They are both very fast. The Mate 9 has 4 gb ram and the Mate 10 has 6gb ram. I am a big fan of them now. I had constant issues with Samsung for 3 different phones. I'll never go back.

RE: IDE as a RAID?
Just in case your wondering though you can put put Raid on desktops. One of my workstations here at work is a Raid 0 with 2 SSd in it. It has an LSI card in it I believe. Its pretty fast. I save everything to network share but its been going on for about 4 years now with any failure.

RE: Windows 10 Always Says Up to Date, But Always Needs Updates
@scottalanmiller said in Windows 10 Always Says Up to Date, But Always Needs Updates:
Maybe this is really meant to be PowerShell only, and no one is taking the time to learn it, and the GUI is just the red headed step child and we don't realize that this is a half assed attempt at showing what PS actually knows?
I would have to agree with this from my limited knowledge of the subject.
