Why is the government fumigating people's houses? Especially without their premission
It's also asking for an explosion

OMG I've become a millenial! - I'm listening Youtube vids while working...
I think that most people would say "How can you be a millennial if you are working?"
Though on that point I would say whose fault is it that the millennial generation is like this enough to be stereotyped? The parents and society their parents created.
I'm technically a millennial (though an early one) and I've had a job since I was 14... I know plenty of people both old and young to work the system (welfare etc) just so they don't have to work. It's not restricted to a generation. It's a lazy society.
We host 6 instances of Pydio on site.

I had forgotten about Pydio. Looks really good. Are you using the community or enterprise?
Community.

You can even do public or password protected guest uploads.
You can do this with ownCloud too.
not with open source. the uploads portal for non-signed users/dropbox says it needs enterpise at least when we tried it.

You don't have to upgrade the windows 7 to 10 in place, Just image with a VL after you document and be done.
Also depending on your level of volume licensing you don't need a seat for imaging either. Imaging rights comes with your agreement not the seat. The seat is just if you are at a lower level and don't get access to everything thin VLSC. (I'm guessing Open License & Open Value are the only two that need to buy this, not sure as we don't have too)
Same with the documenting and going straight to windows 10, as along as you have an agreement higher than Open and Value you should be good. http://www.microsoftvolumelicensing.com/Downloader.aspx?DocumentId=9294

Huawei could solve this by making their platform completely open. Basically only sell hardware and allow others to make their own firmware/software that runs on it.
Who would buy it then? Useless hardware without vertical support? What business would use that? That's the DD-WRT model. Great for hobbyists, but that's not what they are going for. They want business usage.
Well the hope would be that the FOSS environment would make awesome firmware for it, than you could KNOW didn't have a back doors.
Hardware itself can have backdoors
You can buy a lot of Huawei cell phones over here. I used to have a few android phones from them back in the day. They were all crappy made stuff.
Yes, the upgrade has always been free for bussiness..
Windows 10 Enterprise is not free.
Has own cloud officially made any statement? I thought that were still running for now
Nest is crap. Ask anyone that knows about HVAC. They end up costing you more in in energy bills. If you want a good smart themostat the Ecobee or a Honeywell Smart themostat are the ones to get.
If you be XenServer from Citrix with support there is indeed a EULA.. the EULA doesn't just cover support.

@JaredBusch Hmmmmm Might have to go to CDW on that then?
They don't sell it, you can buy CALs and upgrades for the initial install you have to go with a provider/partner for dynamics that can help you with the installs. Microsoft provides no other purchasing avaune
For the initial purchase of any of the dynamics line you have to go through a provider not just an reseller.

Security issues in auto updaters are a big problem. Most of them are prone to man in the middle attacks because they just don't use encryption and / or checksums.
This is especially troubling on mobile devices, something I would expect you to want this type of software the most. yeah this is a pretty big problem - sadly, one I'm guessing it's had since day one. or when they decided to do whatever they do with advertising.
Less of an issue on mobile devices the respective app stores handle it and it's much more secure
