Nice. What types of sax? I (used to) play an Eb Alto, and for a few years a Bb Tenor (I think - I didn't know nearly as much about music then).
I still have my Alto and could play it again after some practice.
It’ll be for two saxophones of the same key, so two tenors, two altos, alto and baritone, etc. Project has since morphed, and it’ll only be an arrangement of “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear”

Enjoying my response to a fake audit.
They sent this to a person with no admin access or history. They also cc another user that is barely computer literate, and my admin account.
All they did was say "Hello."

Editing video
My folks wanted me to find them a decent replacement for Pinnacle Studio. I came up with OpenShot. Any other good ones out there?
I checked out Kdenlive, but that one seemed to be more cumbersome than I expected.
I'm using Kdenlive right now after moving away from OpenShot. Mind you I'm not doing any kind of super complicated stuff. This (and most) of my edits are more of sequencing clips and removing pauses and such.

Narrowing down a problem with Audacity and Fedora 33.
Ever tried Reaper? It has versions for Linux (not sure what flavors are available). It's been my main audio squeeze for a while now, but it's more of a DAW. Though it does have editing capabilities.
I have not. I also want to look into Ardour at some point for multi-track recording.
My last band did our entire album on Reaper (multi tracking but not mix or mastering). Great software, semi free (nag screen after 60 days) or like $70 for a perpetual license. Worth it.
Excellent. BTW I was able to replicate the problem in a VM, and it looks like a bug was opened last week about it.

Hard to believe that they are bothering to still have a summit. The meeting of "inconsequential" Linux.
How long do we think Red Hat will still even be a thing now that IBM seems to be reconsidering their place in their ecosystem. My guess, Red Hat's days are numbers. Long but numbered. They never quite fit IBM's vision and IBM is definitely not seeing them as the valuable product that they did a year ago.
You might find this interesting if you haven't already read it.
https://www.theregister.com/2021/01/26/killing_centos/Yeah, I've seen all that. To me it all reads the same: IBM doesn't see Red Hat as strategic and they are taking the first step of redirecting investment towards somewhere else because to them, Ubuntu has already won and it isn't a fight worth investing in.
I can see how it appears that IBM itself has surrendered to Canonical. It seems like there were (are) two problems happening at the same time. 1. IBM's focus. 2. Disarray within RedHat about whatever its priorities are, which is likely caused by #1.

Picked up some Blue Light glasses on Amazon,
I can notice there's not as much eye strain looking at the screens. On Monday, I’ll be picking up new lenses for my normal, vision correcting glasses, which should have some kind of coating to filter blue light. I’m looking forward to them.
