Question about DNS
Our external web domain is gemequipment.com. That site is hosted somewhere else, and ATM I have nothing to do with it. Can I do something with internal DNS to point files.gemequipment.com to an internal server, specifically a nextcloud instance? I am still using AD DNS.

One article I just read said that we have the most clubs per capita of any state.
In 2015 West Virginia owned that metric.
glad to see that we are moving up in the world then.

weird. I think here is oregon, "cabaret" implies non nude, just dancing. I dont have any personal experience, but oregon is all nude all the time, as far as I know. One article I just read said that we have the most clubs per capita of any state. As far as I know, the whole west coast is like this.

I thought the first one was great, but that the other books sort of got away from it too much. maybe I should try and given them another try in a few years as I get through my queue
You have to read the Trilogy to even complete the story. The first book doesn't really stand on its own.
I have, I've probably read 4 or 5 books in the series. But that was years ago, and before I discovered audiobooks.

RE: MeshCentral - Anyone tried this?
Is everything ran from a website? Like could I connect from a phone to a workstation?

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
I was attempting to start a new fedora instance to install Nextcloud following @JaredBusch's tutorial. Maybe I am just doing it wrong.

I am getting really frustrated with Hyper-V. Yesterday at the end of the day, I realized I couldn't simply copy and paste into a linux VM terminal. I think I am going to have to ssh into it to run commands. Is this normal? So far, everything feels like it's more difficult than it should be.
You shouldn't be using the console for anything but setup. Use the proper remote tools for what you're trying to do.
This was the setup.

You laugh, and here I am faced with a similar problem. I asked to count my academic points, but they refused me. I had to count myself through the https://www.collegegpacalc.com/.
is this just spam?

Watching some DIY videos about building a home network utilizing an empty closet.
WTF is an empty closet...
Asks the guy with a wife and two female children
It's a closet in a vacant house.

So basically, this is a solution for the question I had a few days ago? https://mangolassi.it/topic/18436/remote-viewing-software
Yes. It is certainly an answer.
It is beta. So depending on where you are in needs, it might not be a good fit.
that basically what I meant, a possible answer.

RE: Suggested vendor for selling used equipment?
Here at least, we dont generally consider selling old equipment because of tax reasons and depreciation.

I just started a 6+TB VM move from one of my locations to another across the wan. Oh, and converting from vmware to hyper-v while I was at it. Let's hope it all goes well.
well, this would have worked if the host that was doing the conversion didn't have a bad RAM chip. Anyone know how to get more info from a supermicro on which RAM module this might be?
Might just have to pull them one by one and see.
I think I am going to try a memtest. Just a few weeks ago, this was my production host with a lot of critical workloads on it. It's now been relegated to backup duty so I think I lucked out on the timing.
