@scottalanmiller "Pretty much, as long as I'm talking, nothing really bothers me."
Well that explains it.

Yes we will be recording sessions. They will not be the awesomest recordings this year, due to it being our first one, and I can't afford to hire people. So IPhone are where it's at this year.
I just wanted to update that this is no longer true! We are importing a professional videographer! The recordings are going to be awesome!

RE: Gaming - What's everyone playing / hosting / looking to play

I'm not sure how interactive it will be. Looks like it is more along the lines of you each vote on what decision to make. I doubt there will be two characters.
We've been sitting here speculating on what game play would be like. We played The Walking Dead with my sister and made her control it (I can't handle the stress of being eaten by zombies if I'm too slow) and it was confusing to have us yelling what choice she should pick. Voting for choices would be cool, but there's barely time to read it sometimes. The time crunch makes it feel more realistic, and at least when you get eaten you immediately get to try again. Great games.

@Dominica I did read the article, and I get the cross referencing of the photos, but that doesn't stop or prevent these acts.
At most it might get the hotel owners in trouble, which is great, because this is an bad experience for everyone.
But it doesn't stop or prevent it from happening.
Okay, so you need to think a little more broadly about this. Police have photos of people committing sex trafficking crimes, not photos taken by police, photos taken by criminals that the police then get hold of. If the police can identify where the photos were taken, then they might discover where to look to arrest sex traffickers that have not yet been caught.

RE: Upload hotel room photos to fight sex trafficking
@DustinB3403 Did you read the article?
Quoted:
"The system then allows police to cross-reference all the photos loaded by users with photos pulled from sex-trafficking cases. The program looks for similarities between the sex-trafficking photos and the crowd-sourced photos, in an attempt to positively identify the locations in question."

Upload hotel room photos to fight sex trafficking
TraffikCam is an app where people from all over the world can upload photos of their hotel rooms, which are then cross referenced by police to photos of locations where sex trafficking has occurred. This is a fantastic idea. Note that you need to upload the photos while you are in the hotel room, because the app confirms the location to make sure that the photos are of the hotel rooms that you claim them to be.

Until the women get home and their husbands see it.
That was my favorite tip! Very cool.

@RojoLoco Short layovers and you have to change planes. If you travel carry-on, you'll be golden. No worries about lost luggage.
I've never had an issue with lost luggage after changing planes. I've always made sure that I never changed airlines. If I have to change planes, apparently at least staying with the same airline tends to help.
Well that definitely helps, but stuff happens. Weather, staff shortages, equipment shortages - many things can make your luggage miss your plane. The best way to make sure your stuff arrives when you do is to travel carry-on only.
