Been such a busy day. I'm trying to get out to the beach now.
Has been a busy week here. Just utter craziness on the clock and off.

It has suddenly become autumn in the south! Which will be even better when I get to Asheville NC later. Going to see WEEN tomorrow night, but we're making a weekend of it. Mid 50s F at night.... I'm ready!
Best to enjoy it while it lasts, lol.
Still recovering from vacation last week...
Ready to go back into hiding again.
I've seen this recently on a few Dell systems too. It turns out that Bitlocker was enabled by default and Windows Updates also did a firmware / bios / efi update and it broke windows and if you didn't have your bitlocker key files stored, you were SOL.

Coffee time here. A bit of a headache.
You shouldn't use your head to find the concrete sidewalk.

First evening shift - 2 hours left, I can't even begin to explain how much better this company is
Was anyone even a little surprised?
Looks at all the circkets.
Guess not, lol.
Well - I did only post 1 min ago.
I'm not used to this happening, lol.

@Dashrender, Are you talking about Why should I believe that @travisdh1 is who he says he is, if he can put his own on the ledger?
If so, I think that is a good point.
I also think, though, that if you're providing an identity that comes from the ledger, you can trace it back to the origin and all of that. So even if there are two people claiming to be @travisdh1 ...
You create an account on say... Google, and the Impostor creates an account on Yahoo, the identities may contain similar information, but it would be possible (and should be easy!) to trace it back to the origin, and be able to eeasily tell the two identities apart.
Anybody else use MobaXterm in a VMware-heavy environment?
I have a Powershell script that will pull in all of your Windows and Linux VMs from vCenter and dump them into a Shared MobaXterm Sessions file.
https://gitlab.com/dafyre/mobaxterm-vmware
I'm currently running it against two vCenters (one is regular servers, and the other is for Horizon View).
It works with PowerShell 5.1 and requires the VMware PowerCLI tools, but also tells you how to install them.

Feeling a bit under the weather today. Not bad, just not 100%. Dehydrated, I think. How is everyone?
Drink more water and less alcohol?
We're here. Week is off to start with a deluge of tickets again. Our team is running at less than half capacity this week for folks being out for one reason or another.
I did drink a bit this weekend, but not THAT much.
It's still before Noon on Monday. We should be drinking copiious amounts of coffee anyhow. That counts as water, right?

Comp day failure
I had forgotten I signed up for a VMWare training on a day I chose as a comp day.
oops. I hate it when that happens!
Morning all y'all. Time to start ingesting caffeine!

Off to commit to doing something..... maybe.
I feel your pain. I've scheduled more meetings in the last 3 days than the entire first half of the year.
Workday is already in full swing, lots of fun tickets to deal with. Been a whole bunch of oddball requests lately.
Still working on coffee #3.

Realizing that being at the right company makes all the different for what you do and how much you do. This company in a week has been 1000x better. I'm truly hoping it says this way - but I've been much happier and not dreading going to work for the last4 days has made such improvements to my psyche.
This. So much this. If you are in a job you hate, then it is time to start planning your exit.
Glad you found you a place that looks like it is going to work out great! Is your new job a WFH job?
It is , yeah. great company awesome people and lots of learning happening ; excited to get started with customers- i've been closing ticket and it's only my first week .
the perks are awesome too (coffee subscription paid for by the company is by far my favorite)
Nice! That'd make an incredible perk.

On day four of continuous fireworks here. It's nuts. I have no idea how anyone can afford so many explosives.
Grab some popcorn and enjoy the show?

Just got done walking my daughterβs german shepherd puppy. Man these dogs have so much energy!
Hop on a bicycle, strap a leash to the dog, and hold on tight, lol.
Even at 6 months, my dog was able to pull me on a bicycle until *I* got tired, lol. He would then proceed to collapse on the floor after we got home, lol.
