I have Comodo One setup (only on my home computers at the moment) and it seems to work well enough for what it does. I haven't mucked around with the helpdesk or anything else in it much, yet.
I can see my house from here!
I first heard about tmux here at ML. I've gotten to where I like it better than screen most of the time.

Best Exchange client for Android is an iPhone strapped to it
Yep.... The iPhone also makes a good anti-theft device. If somebody tries to run off with your android, whack them a few times with the iPhone.
Aww come on... You knew somebody would do it...
At any rate, I'm a home-grown Jawja boy. Born-n-bred in the middle of the state. (Seriously, throw a dart and if it hits anywhere near the center of the state, that'd be my home county, lol.
I've been doing computer stuff since I was 5 years old and learned programming on a TI-99... (Pops brought one and a book home and I was hooked). I've been doing computer support for pay since I was 15 years old (I'm 37 now).
My current role is a SysAdmin for a college that is closer to home than my last job.
I've done some work on https://www.upwork.com -- My work is good (of course I'm kinda biased, lol) -- and there is a rating system on there as well so you can see how well someone worked out for somebody else.
There is always that risk of being scammed, but Upwork seems to be a legit site.
If not from a hunting incident, quite possibly from the long term exposure from a server room, lol.
Our two server rooms here are extremely loud (even to me)... I don't have a hard time understanding the guys in there since I can read lips. But they have a terrible time understanding me (oh, sweet irony).

I feel stupid saying it outloud to people.
But then you can immediately turn around and say "Don't Talk Back!"

Why not use OWA? Something making that not a good option?
Lack of push notifications?
So I got my own ELK stack installed in my meager office lab... It wasn't too teribly bad... I enjoy using the most recent packages when I (attempt) to build something, so I used the latest & greatest betas out for Logstash and Elastic. A few quick googles and I was good. 8-)
Now to replicate this on my home server which arguably sees more traffic than my office test setup, lol.
With things like Vultr and DO and the like, I'd think there would be little reason to put fresh hardware on a customer's site provided they have decent internet.
@Dashrender I know he has several... but smbitjournal.com is the only one that I have seen regularly mentioned, lol... Usually when something involving a SAN or various RAID versions comes up, lol.

The Surface 3 will be about the same price too.
They are learning to compete in today's market. I can't wait to see how these all compare.
Don't you have enough toys already?!
I'll take any toys you no longer want / need... PM Me for my home address, lol.
@jamesrudnik Every IT person who has "been in the business for years" that is actually good at IT... unfortunately will work with or know at least one (if not several) people that are in IT who have no business being in IT... * shudder *

How do you deal with things like talking to serial devices like a scale?
Serial over IP. I was doing that at my last job BEFORE we were virtual.
So... I realized something last night... A couple of weeks ago, I wiped my laptop and ran Fedora and then Linux Mint and went back to Windows 10 because I couldn't get the Graphics Card in my laptop working with Ubuntu... Then I realized something... I was using the wrong driver for my video card, lol.
I've got one of those new fandangled NVIDIA Optimus setups where it runs Intel graphics for general stuff, and then activates NVIDIA when 3d-hefty apps are run (in Windows, at least)...
I went back last night and tried the Bumblebee drivers for Feodra 22, and after waging war with SELinux (it is set for permissive until i can figure out how to fix the error), I am able to ditch the Microsoft tax for my laptop... Most everything I want runs great under Wine, lol.
