I have a personal bitwarden account on my gmail address.

work will be creating me a bitwarden account on my company email address.

Can both of these things be signed in at one time?

Google tells me this has been asked for, but I can find no records of if it is possible.

This tool should not require me to give a personal email address to the company in order to be able to access shared resources without logging in and out of bitwarden all of the time.

No, it's a feature request but not available in their applications.

One solution would be to create a new profile (I think you use Firefox) and have a shortcut for the different profiles. Not a perfect solution.... but better then nothing.

See, the thing with AR, is that you'll be learning to get used to seeing things that aren't really there... that can't be good!

I'm ok with it. AR had the potential to make life so much easier/better... not having to remember people's names is going to be the best use of this technology for me.

But I also hate mixing business and personal.
Sure, I can have myself added to the organization using my personal account. And sure things stay separate.

This is what I ran into in the past.... right now I use LastPass for business and Bitwarden for personal. Works pretty well.

Here here - they ever get this into contact lenses or an implant that just uses the optic nerve .. definitely cool thinking.. if not freaky as hell because of horrible we humans are at making secure technology.

You have watched Black Mirror, right? The true potential horror lies not in the security but in the fact the technology is being used by humans.

I've seen one or two episodes - the like status one was just horrible. Then The Orville did a parody of it, damn.. it is a scary thought!

I have yet to see a truly bad Black Mirror episode. They are delightfully dystopian.

      Gotcha šŸ˜‰

Ah. I've run it on Vultr before... I only had 6 players so I didn't need so much performance.

I know they have high frequency systems that get some pretty killer single core performance.

      https://www.vultr.com/products/high-frequency-compute/

But the two big Arma communities that I know collocate their servers.

Well, the Lidar sensors are generally quite expensive still. While some companies claim to have solved that issue, getting a machine learning platform to learn all the nuances involved in operating a multi-ton object safely still seems to be a challenge šŸ˜‰

And yet they are still doing it many times better then human drivers.

The probable worse issue is getting the cars to anticipate what crazy humans will do.

My big concern right now is how well do self-driving cars work in the snow/ice that we get in upstate NY... Although intelligent traction control has already been shown to be better then a human when encountering ice and hydroplaning. That's a fairly simple AI comparatively.

@Supreme_Overlord since the will probably be used for Steam games, check out the Steam controller. I got one (2nd one is a regular xbox wireless) and it has been pretty good. And it can go wired or wireless.

yeah these go on sale quite often so you might want to wait until you see it

It was discontinued in November of 2019.

What do we do now? The Steam controller is what made SO many games actually usable! Dammit. That was a literal game changer.

Yep they had a blow out sale in November. Then they announced they were clearing stock and cancelling un-shipped orders. There was rumor about a V2 coming out but nothing has materialized yet.

I totally forgot that happened. This was when they were selling steamlink for $1 right. I think all of it was on sale

The Link was all but useless.

Really like the Link I have. When you play over a wired connection it works flawlessly.

      lower the barriers to entry

This is the big one. It directly lowers the barrier to entry especially if we move to a uber/taxi-esque system. Providers will be able to provide vehicles for much cheaper then a taxi is currently.

@Dashrender To be honest that's my next step is now to make some keys for my laptop, and see how and where they go šŸ™‚
but my guess is in the same authorized_keys file on a separate line

      This is your friend.

      ssh-copy-id -i ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub user@ip

if you only have a single public key you can simplify it to

      ssh-copy-id user@ip

I specify because my desktop has a few different generated keys.
      3ff95aa0-de1f-4a83-b1c3-74c0919f78c8-image.png

How does this fit into disaster recovery plans when you have many hundreds of ssh keys and a large IT team? If one person has 100 keys to various servers and their laptop dies, are you guys using a script to copy the keys per user? Also new user creation or deleting keys when someone leaves

There is also a way to do a trusted key broker. So you have a single CA that verifies your identity.
