Pizza and BBQ wings. No pics, and I'm not the least bit sorry. I'm sure you can find a picture on the 'net if you don't know what they look like.

RE: What did you have for lunch or dinner today?
My wife didn't cook for me last night, so I had 2 cheeseburgers and 2 pumpkin cream pies (2/$1) at McD's... and no pics.

I guess that explains me at 40 then.
That explained you at 10.
No burn. If you notice, I was the first to upvote it. He nailed it.

Tell your wife.
Hilarious. But nah, she's still pretty awesome. I think I'll keep her. Besides, if I fired her, I'd have to cook!

60Hz refresh rate. That you will notice if you're a sports fan. There will be a blur that follows any fast moving object. Gets
No shows broadcast even at 60, let alone above it. THe human eye can't see 60Hz. No issues there.

I don't buy this.
Back on the day I would get headaches on a 60hz monitor, bump it to 70, headaches gone.
I agree. I know I can see a 60Hz cycle.
But not 60 frames/sec.

RE: Cheap TV or A Pretty Good Price For $399???
I thought we were discussing the mechanics of the TV, not how films are shot? Those aren't really related. You're comparing the refresh rate of a digital component with an analog recording media. Apples to oranges. And, does any of this have anything to do with whether this is a good TV for the price?

Roommate is away this weekend. So likely going to be a quiet one for us.
You've got that all backwards. House to yourselves = let loose!
We don't have the house to ourselves, we now lack the babysitter.
There's plenty of fun to be had at home, without the babysitter. In fact, she might get mad if you even tried to involve the babysitter.

No. I am immune to it, if it's contagious.

Meeting up with the parents Sunday morning, playing games with friends in the afternoon, and making plans to go see my newest nephew out in Seattle latter this year.
Later this year? There's like a week left after Christmas. Better make those plans soon.

And by the way Menudo was a Puerto Rican boy band
He should have known that. They are American. Ricki Martin!
I defer to your obvious expertise. Never spent much time listening to ANY boy band.

One thing I have always lived by...A garage is a house for the car.
Blasphemy. I think I've parked a car in my garage once or twice. That space is far too valuable to park cars there that can exist perfectly well outside in the driveway!
I agree... The only use I've ever seen for a garage is to have it converted into another room in the house!
I use mine to work on cars, set up band practice space in the warmer portion of the year, and use as a general workshop. If I want more house, I'll build an addition.

Idk. I think I'll most likely have a climate controlled shed built for me to use as a carpentry workshop.
I'm lucky enough to also have a full cabinet shop, in addition to the garage. That was worth every penny to build.

Super jealous. I think within a year we will start looking for a builder for our house. It's an exciting time.
I do all of my own building and remodeling, so that keeps costs down significantly.

You build additions onto your own house? i'm not super handy with that kind of stuff yet
Yup, I've built homes, shops, done all aspects of remodeling. I do carpentry, masonry, electric, plumbing, flooring, roofing, etc., as well as building custom cabinetry and furniture.

I have enough room in my house to where having the car in there is perfectly fine.
I can appreciate that. Personally, I think I'd have to relinquish my man card before I'd be able to allow that space to be used as a parking facility.
Could also depend on where you live. I get 70" of snow a year, so having a garage is a good thing.
I'm in western NY. We get a decent amount of snow. Not sure it measures up to 70" a year, to be honest. I'm too lazy to look it up. I have a fairly long driveway, so I still need to run the snow blower, regardless of where the cars are kept.
If the cars are out of the way, even better.
My GF's father has a 330' driveway. That is a total nightmare to snow blow!!
That sucks. Mine is about 100'.

Sure sure, until you're ready to kill the builder, your wife, and everyone involved over the so minuet things that "need a decision" and the timeline.
Yeah, so he's right. NOW is the exciting time, not when you're neck-deep in the project and ready to kill everyone. That's specifically not the exciting time.
