@oksana We have used Starwind products for several years and have had really good results with Starwind vSAN on Hyper-V for general purpose shared storage (Hyper-V VM's, SQL clusters etc.). The vSAN product is solid, can be spun up rapidly with only a two or three nodes and unlike Storage Spaces Direct, it can leverage both RAID and non-RAID/JBOD disk subsystems. Starwind is also easier to work with than Microsoft SSD. Definitely worth a look.
