Could always donate it to your favorite charity.

That's what I do with the scraps left over on gift cards I get, usually.

I rather give money to people that need it directly. Most Amercian 501(c)3's are scams. They are more about getting themselves money than helping people.

@Jason yea, you really have to do your research on "charities".

I have found this tool to be helpful on various occasions....

I've seen some where only like 10% of their budget went to help people, the other 90% was "administrative".

I'd rather set two dollar bills on fire than give it to a crooked charity.

I've personally (my family) been helped in a tremendous way by a national charity. They aren't all bad, especially local chapters.

But, I agree you have to do your homework.

Oh sure, many of them help people, but only with 10-20% of the money they get in , in most cases.

Just finishing reading "Somewhere Different" that talks about the crooked charities and NGOs in Sri Lanka during the typhoon.

@RojoLoco Yeah, I'm not clicking that, but it seems to be some sort of credit for using eBay. I guess people still use eBay 🙂

I'm in the same boat, I've totally forgotten about eBay, well mostly.
