        Has anyone tried Gsync? It requires a special monitor, no?

              I've personally used it, and it's very impressive. You need a special monitor and a GPU that supports it. It pretty much eliminates screen tearing and frame-draw lag.

                Now, so far as I know, Asus is planning on releasing a DIY kit to pop a G-Sync chip in a few of their monitors, namely the VG248QE.
