I'm super stoked to be working on the website. It shall be epic. If anyone else needs any web work done, http://poweredbypi.net

The pacman will be there!

This is going to be rough for me.
The boss has already told me that she won't sign off on any more time off for me from may to Sept since I'm taking three weeks in July.
Not to mention this is my year to go to DragonCon, the first weekend of Sept.
Only time will tell.

$587 to Buffalo. Jet Blue doesn't fly from ATL, Delta owns our airport.

@RojoLoco what about Airtran? It used to be, back when I lived in Rochester, that Atlanta was nearly free.

I can't select dates in Sept 2016 on their site, but a quick search shows about $450 round trip, multiple stops (a deal breaker for me). I might just drive over 2 days, even friggin Amtrak costs $500.

I've actually done Rochester to Atlanta a few times (NTG is based in Rochester, oldest client is in the Atlanta metro) and we did a race once and by car was faster than the flight once you included the rides at either end, the security wait time, etc. Atltanta to Rochester really isn't bad, especially if you make it a car pool road trip.
-
If people do choose to fly into Buffalo we might be able to work out transport from there. There will be enough of us here in the area to help out with that (good job for @scottalanmiller)

Whats a good halfway town to stop in for the night? Maybe Lexington? I'm seeing multiple driving routes, but one goes across the middle of nowhere (W VA, etc)
-
I think a few carpools out to Buffalo will be easy enough to organize. I'll be carless, though, so will need to borrow a minivan to be making runs.

That's funny. It is $355 flying from DEN through ATL to ROC.
-
I am sure there are others who will be driving and you could all coordinate. Road Trips are lots of fun!
-
Got it - fly ATL to Cleveland for $245, rent a car and drive along the water to Rochester.
-
Cleveland is quite an easy drive. Maybe you can car pool with @DonutDetroyer
-
@scottalanmiller it looks like a nice, scenic route too. I've never seen the Great Lakes.
